REAL BOTANICALS · PRESERVED TO LAST FOR YEARS
Fleurs éternelles
Real flowers. Real foliage.
A little piece of the garden, preserved to stay.
FROM OUR GARDENS TO YOUR HOME
It Begins Long Before the Flowers Are Gathered.
Our Everlasting Florals begin in the garden, often months before an arrangement takes shape.
Many of the botanicals we preserve are grown from seed in the Imaginary Meadows gardens, chosen not only for how they will bloom, but for how beautifully they will carry the character of the season forward. We tend them as they grow, gather them when the moment is right, and preserve them slowly before they ever reach the studio table.
We call this Garden-to-Preservation™.
It means our work is guided by what the garden gives us. Some seasons offer an abundance of one flower and very little of another. Some stems grow perfectly straight; others bend toward the light. We don't ask the garden to produce endlessly or look exactly the same from year to year.
We work with what has grown.
And when the gardens cannot provide a botanical a piece calls for, we thoughtfully source it—always with the same attention to beauty, character and how it will live within the finished arrangement.
The garden changes with every season.
Our arrangements are allowed to, too.

FROM GARDEN TO PRESERVATION™
A Slow Process, Guided by the Botanical.
Each botanical responds differently to preservation. Some are harvested just as they begin to open. Others are left to mature more fully in the garden. Once gathered, they are prepared and preserved using the method best suited to their structure, colour and character.
There is no single recipe. The botanical tells us what it needs.
GROWN & OBSERVED
Many of our botanicals begin as seed in the Imaginary Meadows gardens. Throughout the season, we watch how they grow, when they bloom and how their colour and form begin to change.
GATHERED AT THE RIGHT MOMENT
Flowers, grasses, seed heads and foliage are gathered individually, when each has reached the stage best suited to preservation. Not everything is harvested at its most perfect moment of bloom. Sometimes what comes later is even more beautiful.
PRESERVED SLOWLY
Each botanical is prepared using the preservation method most appropriate for it. Time does much of the work. As moisture leaves, the flower begins another expression of itself. One with its own colour, texture and character.
ARRANGED BY HAND
Only after preservation do the botanicals reach the studio table. Michele works with what the season has given, bringing together form, movement, colour and texture until the arrangement finds its balance. No two need to be exactly alike.
Preservation isn't about stopping nature.
It's about allowing something of the season to remain.
Imagine the Garden Staying With You.
The flowers on the table when you come downstairs in the morning.
A little piece of summer beside the chair where you read. The colour of autumn resting quietly on a mantel long after the garden outside has gone to sleep.
No water to change. No petals to gather from the table. No moment when you realize the flowers you loved have reached the end of their week.
Just something beautiful from the natural world, still there.
A season you don't have to say goodbye to quite yet.
Made to Stay. Remarkably Easy to Live With.
CARE & LONGEVITY
Everlasting Florals ask very little of you. No water. No trimming. No changing the vase each week.
Once preserved, they simply need the right place to live. Keep them dry, protect them from direct sunlight, and occasionally remove any dust that settles. With thoughtful care, their colour, texture and character can remain part of your home for years.
They will change, because they are real.
Preserved botanicals are part of the natural world. Over the years, colours may gently soften and textures may continue to evolve. We don't consider this an imperfection. It is part of the character of something that once grew in a garden.
