Michael and I have always been drawn to objects that seem to have a story to tell. The old garden pot with a little moss around its rim. A piece of weathered iron that has spent years outdoors. Or something discovered in an antique shop, its surface softened by time and use. There's a particular beauty in these things. Not because they're perfect, but because they aren't.

That's what first caught our attention about The Bells of Another Time. Each bell has a slightly irregular shape and a richly aged finish. Their surfaces are wonderfully varied, with warm metallic tones and darker markings that give them the appearance of objects that have been quietly waiting to be discovered. And rather than hanging together from a single cord, each bell is suspended from its own slender iron stand. We love that detail.

It allows the bells to be appreciated individually, while their three different heights create a beautiful rhythm when displayed together. There's something almost architectural about the arrangement. Simple lines, interesting proportions and just enough variation to make you look a little closer.
