Bring the Outdoors Inside.

PapierFlora

Imagine a room where nature isn't simply pictured on the walls, it is part of them. Real grasses, flowers and fragments of the landscape bring their colour, texture and quiet irregularity into the space around you. PapierFlora turns the wall itself into something worth noticing.

These really are plants.

NOT PRINTED. GROWN.

These really are plants.

What looks like an extraordinarily detailed botanical pattern isn't a pattern at all. PapierFlora is made with real grasses, flowers, herbs and other natural materials, allowing the stems, petals, leaves and fibres themselves to become part of the surface.

Look closely and you'll see what nature actually made—the variations in colour, shape and texture that could never be perfectly repeated.

No two areas are exactly alike. Nature didn't make them that way.

PAPIERFLORA

A STUDY IN NATURAL MATERIAL

SEE · FEEL · SMELL

A Surface You Experience.

Real botanicals give PapierFlora more than its appearance. Their texture, subtle fragrance and individual details remain part of the surface, inviting you to experience nature with more than your eyes.

Look A Little Closer.

Stems, petals, leaves and fibres reveal themselves across the surface. What first appears to be a pattern is actually the natural material itself, with variations in colour, shape and detail that make every area a little different.

Nature You Can Touch.

The botanicals retain their natural texture and subtle irregularities, giving the surface a tactile quality that ordinary printed wallcoverings simply cannot recreate.

Even The Scent Is Natural.

Depending on the botanicals used, the surface may retain a delicate natural fragrance. Nothing is added to create it, the scent comes from the plant material itself.

NATURAL MATERIALS · THOUGHTFUL PRODUCTION

Made With Nature. Made With Care for It.

PapierFlora's relationship with nature extends beyond what you see on the surface. Its makers work with rapidly renewable natural raw materials and give botanicals such as moss and lavender stems a second life rather than allowing them to go to waste.

Produced locally in Tyrol, Austria, the natural surfaces are made using carbon-neutral production and circular-economy principles. The company reports that its facilities use recovered process heat, its electricity comes entirely from green energy, and its vehicle fleet has been fully electric since 2022.

Raw materials are sourced with the same consideration, including direct relationships with farmers in the Tyrolean Alps that help keep many transportation routes short.

For PapierFlora, sustainability isn't separate from the beauty of the material.

It is part of how that beauty comes to exist.

Photographs can show the colour. They can reveal the flowers, grasses and fibres. But PapierFlora is a material best understood when you can hold it in your hands.

Your Questions, Answered.

PapierFlora is made from real natural materials, naturally textured and breathable.

PapierFlora is a natural handcrafted material. Slight variations in:

  • Color
  • Texture
  • Density
  • Botanical distribution
  • Fragrance

are normal and contribute to the uniqueness of each installation.

No two panels or surfaces will ever be exactly identical.

Many PapierFlora styles retain a natural botanical scent. Fragrance intensity may vary depending on:

  • Environmental conditions
  • Air circulation
  • Exposure to sunlight
  • Surface sealing
  • Individual sensitivity

Lightly misting the surface with clean water may temporarily refresh certain natural fragrances.

Light Dusting for regular maintenance:

  • Use a dry microfiber cloth or lint-free cloth
  • Dust gently using light pressure only
  • A soft feather duster or soft-bristle brush may also be used
  • Vacuuming may be performed carefully using a soft brush attachment at low suction

Always avoid excessive pressure during cleaning.

Spot Cleaning:

  1. Address the stain as quickly as possible
  2. Use a dry microfiber cloth first
  3. If necessary, slightly dampen the cloth with clean water
  4. Dab gently — do not scrub

After cleaning: Allow the surface to dry naturally

Bathrooms or spa environments may require additional sealing or protection depending on ventilation and moisture levels.

PapierFlora is installed using the wall-pasting method, with the wall prepared appropriately before application. Every purchase includes detailed instructions for wall preparation and application, so you'll have clear guidance for each step of the installation process.

Absolutely, and we encourage it. PapierFlora is something best experienced in person. A sample allows you to see the real botanicals up close, feel their natural texture, and experience how the colour and character of the surface respond to the light in your own home.

Because real plant material is part of every surface, natural variation is part of its beauty. Your sample will give you a wonderful sense of the material and overall character, though no two areas will ever be exactly alike.

We recommend ordering a sample before selecting your PapierFlora wallcovering.

The tested natural surfaces are hypoallergenic due to the pressing temperature and pressing time. This means that everyone can enjoy the calming effect of fragrant natural materials without hesitation.
