WHY THESE FLOWERS ARE DIFFERENT

Most decorative pieces are forgotten. This one gets noticed - every time.

Autumn often begins before we are quite ready to call it by name.

The leaves may already be turning and the garden may be changing, but then comes a morning when the air feels different—cooler, clearer, somehow more awake. Suddenly, what had only been beginning feels undeniably here.

The First True Morning was created from that feeling.

Preserved oak leaves bring the burnished colour and beautiful architecture of the changing canopy, gathered among richly coloured Helichrysums and the delicate texture of Chuvisco grass. At the very end, deep orange teasels were added almost irresistibly—their sculptural forms and fiery colour bringing an unexpected wildness to the arrangement.

Together, the botanicals capture Autumn not at its fullest, but at its first moment of certainty.

The season has only just begun.

And perhaps that is what makes the morning feel so full of possibility.

The vase shown was selected for this bouquet in our Studio and is available separately from our Vase Collection.

Michele arranges every single piece by hand. She doesn't use a formula. She works with the natural shape of each stem until the composition feels right. The result is something that looks both wild and intentional - like a corner of a real garden, stopped in time.

The vessel itself is a sculpture. It's the kind of piece that owns its space where ever you place it - for years to come. Your guests will notice it and ask: "Where did you get that?"

"Truly one-of-a-kind, as no two arrangements can ever look alike, just as Mother Nature intended."

THE BOTANICALS USED IN THIS PIECE:

Delicate and airy, this grass features tiny, star-like seed heads that provide a sense of "lightness" and ethereal movement to your art.

Preserved with a gentle white wash, these leathery leaves offer a soft, "frosted" elegance and a sophisticated seasonal depth.

Helichrysum (Strawflowers)

A warm luminous bloom, the star in most arrangements. It holds its colour and shape for years after preservation.

Teasel

Spiky and architectural, Teasel heads offer a rugged, "wild" silhouette and a sophisticated, textured edge to high-end designs. Careful, they are prickly.

Carthamus

Also known as Safflower, these thistle-like globes provide a burst of sunset-orange texture and a rugged, "meadow-grown" energy.

A gift that doesn't make a moment, it becomes a lasting memory.

A housewarming, birthday, or "just because" present that people genuinely remember. And it doesn't die in a week.
