WHY THESE FLOWERS ARE DIFFERENT

Early Autumn rarely moves in a straight line.

There are crisp mornings that make the change feel certain, followed by afternoons so warm and gentle they seem borrowed from the season before.

Summer, Remembered was created during one of those beautiful reversals.

Soft pink preserved Gerbera daisies and delicate paper daisies bring the lightness of Summer into conversation with deep burgundy Amaranth and Scarlet Oak leaves. Oat grass rises loosely between them, giving the arrangement an airy, meadow-like movement that keeps it from settling completely into either season.

The contrast is the story.

Fresh pink beside weathered burgundy.

Michele arranges every single piece by hand. She doesn't use a formula. She works with the natural shape of each stem until the composition feels right. The result is something that looks both wild and intentional - like a corner of a real garden, stopped in time.

THE BOTANICALS USED IN THIS PIECE:

Preserved with a gentle white wash, these leathery leaves offer a soft, "frosted" elegance and a sophisticated seasonal depth.

Preserved to lock in their vibrant, symmetrical petals, the Gerber Daisy offers a bold, graphic "pop" and a sense of high-summer abundance.

Amaranthus's deep crimson plume brings bold vertical movement and a note of Last Bloom burgundy to an arrangement -- the kind of saturated colour that anchors a composition's darkest corner.

These delicate blooms feature crisp, paper-white petals surrounding a sun-bright golden centre. They bring a cheerful, wildflower-meadow energy to any arrangement, maintaining their structural "pop" and pristine colour for years to come.

Quaker Oat Grass

Featuring dainty, heart-shaped seed heads that dangle with every breeze, this grass adds a sense of light, airy movement and organic grace. One of Michele's favourite for add motion to her pieces.
