WHY THESE FLOWERS ARE DIFFERENT

Most decorative pieces are forgotten. This one gets noticed - every time.

It began with A Change in the Air—an arrangement inspired by that almost imperceptible moment when summer begins loosening its hold and the garden starts telling a different story.

But some stories ask to travel a little farther.

Carried on the Wind reimagines that original observation as an everlasting bouquet, allowing its distinctive palette to take on a life of its own. Preserved white Hydrangeas create softness and light among dried blackberries, deep red Plumosum, dark blue Bupleurum and richly toned Salal leaves.

The result belongs beautifully to the space between seasons. Not yet the familiar golds and russets of autumn, and no longer the exuberant colours of high summer. Instead, there is contrast, depth and the first suggestion that something is changing.

Created to be enjoyed in a vessel of your own choosing or paired with the vase selected for it in our Studio, this bouquet allows one fleeting observation from the garden to find its way somewhere new.

Because sometimes what we notice is worth carrying with us.

Michele arranges every single piece by hand. She doesn't use a formula. She works with the natural shape of each stem until the composition feels right. The result is something that looks both wild and intentional - like a corner of a real garden, stopped in time.

The vessel itself is a sculpture. It's the kind of piece that owns its space where ever you place it - for years to come. Your guests will notice it and ask: "Where did you get that?"

THE BOTANICALS USED IN THIS PIECE:

Featuring dark, preserved berries on thorny stems, these bring an evocative "foraged" mood and a rich, midnight-hued contrast to your work.

Plumosum (female0), Preserved

Featuring a distinct cone-like centre and feathery, star-shaped bracts, Plumosum adds a luxury, contemporary geometric texture.

Bupleurum

Known for its dainty "star" clusters, Bupleurum adds a refreshing, airy transparency and a sense of light, "fresh-cut" vitality. Sometimes dyed to add a hint of contrast to one of Michele's creations.

Salal, Preserved

Known for its broad, leathery leaves, preserved Salal offers a rich, biophilic backdrop that grounds more delicate floral elements.

Hydrangea

Our Hydrangeas are sometimes preserved to keep their voluminous, cloud-like structure and antique-toned pigments, perfect for timeless arrangements. Other times we dry them to get the rich organic hues of the end of summer. Either way they are wonderful additions to Michele's creations.
